What information we collect

• The recipient's name and your relationship to them
• Your answers to story questions (memories, details, names, inside references)
• Style and genre preferences you select during checkout
• Any optional media links (for example, a photo or reference track you choose to share)
• Payment information — processed directly by Stripe, not stored on our servers

We use the Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram) to measure the performance of our advertising campaigns. This tool may collect anonymised data about your visit, such as pages viewed and actions taken on the site, for the purpose of ad attribution and audience optimisation. No personal story details, names, or order content are shared with Meta. You can opt out of Meta's data collection via your Meta privacy settings.

Beyond ad measurement, we do not run additional third-party trackers or sell browsing data.

How we use your information

Your information is used exclusively to fulfill your order and provide the service you purchased. Specifically, we use it to:

• Create your personalized song and any related gift assets included in your package
• Communicate with you about your order, delivery, and any revisions
• Deliver the completed song files and any digital gifts to the email address you provided
• Respond to support or revision requests you send us

We do not use your story details, recipient name, or personal memories for marketing, public samples, advertising, or any purpose other than fulfilling your order — without your explicit written permission.

Payment processing

Payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS certified payment processor. We do not receive or store your full card number, CVV, or sensitive payment credentials. By completing a purchase, you are also subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.

Who we share your information with

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited order details with production collaborators (for example, a vocalist or audio engineer) only to the extent necessary to complete your order. Any such collaborators are bound to use your information only for that purpose.

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to a valid legal request.

Data retention

We retain your order information — including your story details and contact information — for up to 12 months after your order is fulfilled. This allows us to honor revision requests or re-deliver files if needed. After this period, personal story details are deleted. You may request earlier deletion by contacting us at hello@vowandverse.com.

Song audio files associated with your order may be retained for a longer period in encrypted storage for quality assurance purposes, unless you request deletion.

Your rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to:

• Request access to the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your personal data
• Object to or restrict how we process your data
• Receive a copy of your data in a portable format
